Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is now open and accepting scholarship application for the academic year 2026 to 2027. Interesting and eligible students are now able to apply OWWA Scholarship Program.
What is OWWA Scholarship Program?
The OWWA Scholarship is a financial assistance program offered by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration to support educational help of it’s dependents Childrens/Spouses of an Active OWWA-Member OFWs – Overseas Filipino Workers as:
- Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP)
- Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program (CMWSP)
- OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP)
Before Applying Note: OWWA is only accepting online Scholarship application for EDSP and CMWSP program for the academic year 2026 to 2027.
Educational for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP)
To Apply OWWA Scholarship EDSP Program follw the steps given:
Scholarship Benefits
- ₱60,000 Per Year (Covers Tuition and Other Educational Assistance)
- Benefits covers upto 4 to 5 Years of Course
Requirements to follow
- Must be single
- Must be a Child/Sibling of an active OWWA Member (OFWs)
- Must be Below 21 years of Old during application process
- Enroll in any university or College within the Philippines
- Must be grade 12 Graduating student
- GWA – General Average Weighted must be at least 80% or to it’s eqiualient
- No other active or ongoing scholarship program
Documents to be prepared
- Active OFWs ID Card
- True copy of Birth certificate or Baptismal Certificate
- Valid School ID
- Two 2×2 ID Picture with Name tag
- Certificate of showing GWA of at least 80%
- Certificate of No marriage (CENOMAR)

- For those who enrolled in any 4 to 5 Years of Baccalaureate Courses in any College/University in the country
- GWA – General Average Weighted must be at least 80% or to it’s eqiualient

- Active OFWs ID Card
- True copy of Birth certificate or Baptismal Certificate
- Valid School ID
