CHED Sikap scholarship program is now open to apply for all the interesting and eligible Filipino Students, for the academic year 2026-2027.
SIKAP stands for “Scholarship for Instructors Knowledge Advancement Program” it is a assistance initiative by the CHED in the Country. mainly designed to support teaching and non-teaching staff working in a recognized Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
CHED SIKAP is a government funded Scholarship Program that supports full-time and part-time graduates studies (Master’s or Doctorate) for qualified teaching and non-teaching personal in CHED recognized Colleges and universities.
Requirements
- Must be a Filipino Citizen.
- Teaching or Non-Teaching Personal employed in any HEIs on a full-time basis
- Enrolled or going to enroll in a Graduate Degree Program.
- Must be Physically and Mentally fit to undertake the complete scholarship Program
- Applicant must not be more than 50 Years of old
- They must not have any active scholarship program
- Applicant must have a Good Academic Standing
- Willing to execute a Return service Agreement with the SHEI.
- Must have an approved full-time study leave without teaching/workload covering the entire scholarship Period.

Documentary Requirements to apply
To Apply for a CHED Sikap Scholarship program you need to submit a valid Documents as given:
- SHEI Endorsement form
- Application form
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- Certificate of Employment with Compensation
- Approved Study Leave issued by the SHEI
- Certificate of Clearance form the previous grants – if applicable.
- NBI Clearance
- Medial Certificate of Physical Fitness and Mental Fitness with a licensed Physician.
- Proof of Admission to the DHEI
- Transcript of Records:
- For undergraduate and graduate/post-graduate degree
- Return service agreement and Draft Re-entry Action Plan
- Copy of Publication in the past 5 years, if any
- Certificate of Award, If applicable

- Tuition and other fees – Actual tuition
- Monthly Stipend – ₱41,000
- Research allowance – ₱150,000
Benefits for Doctorate Degree Programs:
- Tuition and other fees – Actual tuition
- Monthly Stipend – ₱54,000
- Research allowance – ₱250,000

- Monthly Stipend – ₱40,000
- Research allowance – ₱150,000
Benefits for Doctorate Degree Programs:
- Tuition and other fees – Actual tuition

How to Apply CHED Sikap Scholarship?
The CHED releases a call for applications through official channels. The application is processed through Sending HEI /Agency/Institution Nomination only .

- If you don’t have an account? Register as a student
- Login to your Account with user ID and Password
- Complete the application form and upload documentary requirements
- Wait for the application status update through email
