The CDO City Scholarship 2026 program is now open to apply for all eligible Filipino College Students. The City Government of Cagayan de Oro is Calling all interested candidates to apply for the City Scholarship Program for academic year 2026 to 2027

What is City Scholarship?

The City Scholarship office has made an announcement of its Scholarship Program in it’s Facebook Page, regarding the opening of Application for the Year 2026 to 2027.

There are two type of Scholarship Program offered to students under this program as follows:

  1. Academic Scholarship and
  2. Non – Academic Scholarship

Academic Scholarship

The Applicants who are accepted for the scholarship may need to choose any partner school of choice, and any course including board – and medical related courses: Nursing, Med-Tech, Pharmacy ect.

Non-Academic Scholarship

The Applicants who are accepted for the Scholarship may only chose any non-board and non-medical related course in school approved by the city scholarship Committee.

Qualification Requirements to apply

To Apply for A City Scholarship program you need follow the requirements as follows:

  • Must be a Filipino Citizen;
  • Applicant is a permanent resident of Cagayan de Oro City;
  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree on a full-time basis;
  • Must be a graduate of Senior High School;
  • Must be an incoming first year college student by the start of SY 2026-2027;
  • Must NOT have been enrolled in College;
  • Must not have exceeded gross total family income of Php 300,000 annually;
  • Must not have a sibling or family member who is currently a city scholar.

    • Agribusiness, Biosystems Engineering, Crop Science.
  • Education
    • Major in TLE, Filipino and Special Education.
  • Business and Tourism
  • Engineering
  • Medical-Related Courses
    • Nursing
  • Information and Communication Technologies.
    • Data Science, Computer Science and IT.

𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗠𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

  • Submit complete 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗦 of the following requirements and in 𝗣𝗗𝗙 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁 at bit.ly/OnlineSubmissionRequirements2026, starting 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲:
  • Applicant must be a Filipino citizen;
  • Grades (Grade 12 first semester)
  • For ALS graduates, Senior High Certificate of Completion
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Residency of Applicant indicating specific address in Cagayan de Oro, with length of residence
  • Residence map with the landmark of the home address
  • Photo of residence for validation purposes
  • COMELEC Registration or Voter’s Certificate of the applicant or parents
  • Parents’ Proof of Income (choose whichever is applicable):
    • If indigent parents
      • Barangay Certification indicating the source of income of both parents and the total family income
      • Or BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption for unemployed parents
    • If employed or self-employed parents, BIR Income Tax Return
      • If applicable/optional:
        • Summary of Senior High School Awards and Leadership signed by the School Principal
        • PWD ID of the applicant
        • 4Ps ID of parents/applicant
        • Solo Parent ID
        • Certification of Indigenous People Membership
