CHED EASE Scholarship 2026-2027, Application, Deadline, Requirements, Open Now to Apply

The CHED EASE Scholarship is now open to apply and accepting online Applications for the academic year 2026-2027, If you belong to a special Equity Group, This scholarship helps to fund your educational needs.

What is CHED EASE Scholarship?

(EASE) Expanding Access to Scholarship for Equity Groups Program strengthens social inclusion by expanding educational opportunities, through the provision of targeted financial benefits, it supports not only access to higher education also the retention and successful completion of beneficiaries.

What are the Requirements to Apply?

  • Must be a Filipino citizen;
  • Must be a duly certified member of any SEGS;
  • Must be a graduate of a Senior High school (SHS) in the Philippines with a minimum general average of at least 85% or its equivalent;
  • Must be admitted or enrolled in any CHED-identified priority undergraduate programs with valid GR or COPC, offered by PHEIS or SUCS duly recognized by the CHED, or LUCs with IR; and
  • Combined annual gross income of the parent/s or legal guardian/s, in the case of children or dependents, must not exceed (Php 2,000,000)

Documentary Requirements

  • Photocopy of Birth certificate issued by the by the National Statistics Office (NSO) or the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA);
  • Certified true copy of Form 138 [Learner’s Progress Report Card or School Form 9 (SF9)]
  • Duly signed by the registrar or an authorized representative of the SHS attended;
  • Admission Slip or an equivalent document from your intended HEI
  • For Underprivileged and Homeless Citizens
    • Applicant’s certification issued by the Local Housing Office
    • Urban Poor Affairs Office
    • the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) or
    • the City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (C/MSWDO) or
    • proof of inclusion in the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS)
  • For IPs
    • Applicant’s certification issued by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP)
    • For Senior Citizens – Applicant’s Senior Citizen ID issued by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affair (OSCA);

Scholarship Benefits

For SUCs and LUCS:

  • FREE – Tuition and Other School Fees
  • ₱35,000 per year – Stipend
  • ₱5,000 per year – Book / Connectivity Allowance
  • ₱40,000 per year – TOTAL

For Private HEIS:

  • ₱20,000 per year – Tuition and Other School Fees
  • ₱35,000 per year – Stipend
  • ₱5,000 per year – Book / Connectivity Allowance
  • ₱60,000 per year – TOTAL

Special Equity Groups

  • Indigenous People;
  • Senior Citizen’s;
  • Solo Parent’s and their Children’s;
  • Person with Disabilities;
  • Individuals covered under Magna Carta of the Poor;
  • Underprivilege and Homeless Citizens;
