The CHED Scholarship is Now Open for all eligible Filipino College students for the Academic Year 2024 to 2025, The Higher Education Act of 1994 was created through the passage of Republic Act No. 7722.

CHED Merit Scholarship program is a Government Funded Scholarship aimed in helping students on their Educational Assistance, Who are belong to the following Groups

  • Those who are underprivileged and homeless citizens (RA 7279).
  • Persons with Disability (RA 7277) and
  • Solo Parents or their dependents (RA 8371)

What is CHED Scholarship

The CHED Scholarship Provide financial assistance in the Philippines. These Program is designed to support deserving Students in pursuing their Higher Education.

Scholarship Program is now open for all incoming freshmen who wants to pursue undergraduate studies in CHED recognized Priority Program.

  1. Private Higher Education institutions – (HEIs)
  2. State Universities and Colleges – (SUCs) and
  3. Local Universities and Colleges – (LUCs)

Scholarship Requirements to apply For AY 2024 – 2025

To Apply for CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMS), You need to follow the eligibility requirements as follows:

  • They must be a Filipino Citizen.
  • They must be Graduating High School Students.
  • GWA – General Weighted Average of at least 96% for full Merit Scholarship Program and 93% to 95% or it’s equivalent for Half Merit Scholarship Program.
  • Submit certifications or IDs (Identification Cards) issued by the appropriate offices or agencies.
  • They must have only one Government Funded Scholarship Program.
  • They Must enroll in any courses as mention in the list of CHED Priority Program.

Documentary requirement to apply

To Apply For a CHED Scholarship you need to provide a valid Documents, Here are the list of valid Documents:

  • Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate.
  • High school report card for incoming freshmen students and
  • Duly certified true copy of grades for Grade 11 and 1st semester of Grade 12 for Graduating high school students.
  • Latest Income Tax Return of Parents or Guardian.
  • Tax Exemption form the BIR-Bureau of Internal Revenue
  • Certificate of Indigence either from their Barangay or DSWD
  • Valid ID card and
  • Other Documents if required

Full PESFA Scholars will receive a total of ₱120,000/Yearly:

  • Tuition and other school fees – ₱40,000
  • Stipend – ₱70,000
  • Book and Connectivity allowance of – ₱10,000

Full PESFA – Semestral Benefits as follows

Full PESFA – Will receive a total of ₱60,000, as follows:

  • Tuition & Other School Fees – ₱20,000;
  • Stipend – ₱35,000;
  • Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.

Half PESFA – Yearly Benefits

Half PESFA – Yearly will receive a total of ₱60,000 as follows:

  • Tuition & other school fees – ₱20,000;
  • Stipend – ₱35,000;
  • Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.

Half PESFA – Semestral Benefits:

Half PESFA – Semestral will receive a total of ₱30,000, as follows:

  • Tuition & other school fees – ₱20,000;
  • Stipend – ₱17,500;
  • Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱2,500.

Full SSP Yearly Benefits will receive a total of ₱80,000, as follows:

  • Tuition and other school fees – FREE;
  • Stipend – ₱70,000;
  • Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱10,000.

Full SSP – Semestral Benefits

Full SSP Semestral Benefits will receive a total of ₱40,000, as follows:

  • Tuition & other school fees – FREE;
  • Stipend – ₱35,000;
  • Books and Connective Allowance – ₱5,000.

Half SSP – Yearly Benefits

Half SSP Yearly Benefits will Get a total of ₱40,000, as follows:

  • Tuition & other school fees – FREE;
